The most important sales surface in a restauranthas not changed in fifty years.
The problem we are solving
The U.S. restaurant industry crossed a trillion dollars in sales last year. The menu, the single most important sales surface in the business, is still a piece of paper. Every diner sees the same list, regardless of dietary restrictions, taste preferences, or what they have ordered before.
The gap is measurable. A restaurant with forty dishes loses check-size to indecision. Guests with dietary needs settle. The signature plate gets lost in the middle of page two. And the experience of choosing what to eat — which should be one of the small joys of the meal — becomes a chore.
We think the menu should know you. We think it should adapt. We think it should respect you, your dietary needs, and your data.
The vision
We are building the layer that makes a restaurant feel like it actually knows you.
We start with the menu, because the menu is where the relationship between a restaurant and a diner has always begun. From there, the platform extends to ordering, to kitchen and inventory operations, to predicting how a new dish will land before it hits the printer.
Each phase compounds. The system learns more, the diner experience gets sharper, and the restaurant gets clearer signal about what its guests actually want.
We are restaurant-first by design. We do not take commissions on orders. We do not sell guest data. We are a tool that sits underneath your operation and makes it work better.

The team
Founder-led. Hiring with intent.
Dinique was founded by Raja, an entrepreneur with experience across fintech, healthcare technology, and retail. The company is in pre-seed stage, with the first restaurant relationships in place and the Chicago pilot in motion.
We are hiring a technical co-founder and the first engineering team. If you are a senior engineer who has shipped consumer products and wants to build something that respects both diners and restaurants, read the careers page.
